How to setup your email account

1. Select the Tools menu

2. Select the Account settings menu item
 



3. Click the New button

 

 

 

4. Ensure that the Internet E-mail radio button is selected.
5. Click the Next button

 

 

 


6. Enter Your name in the box. When you send an e-mail Your Name is used to identify you as the sender.
7. Enter your e-mail address in the E-mail Address box.
8. Enter your password in the Password box.
9. Enter your password in the Retype Password box.
10. Select the Manually configure server settings or additonal server types check box.
11. Click the Next button

 

 

 

12. Enter your Incoming mail server in the box « mail.yourdomain.com ».
13. Enter your Outgoing mail server (SMTP) in the box

If your internet connection is with Bell Sympatico your SMTP server is : « smtphm.sympatico.ca ».
If your internet connection is with Vidéotron your SMTP server is : « relais.videotron.ca ».

14. Enter your e-mail address in the User Name box.
15. Enter your password in the Password box.

 

 

 

16. Click the Next button
17. Click the Finish button
18. Click the Close button
